What you need

Background

MailerLite is an email marketing platform designed to help businesses and individuals create, send, and manage email campaigns. It provides tools and features for building and maintaining email lists, designing emails, and analyzing campaign performance.

Benefits

  • Email Campaigns: Create and send marketing emails, newsletters, and promotional messages with customizable templates and a drag-and-drop editor.
  • Automation: Set up automated email workflows for tasks like welcoming new subscribers, nurturing leads, or following up with customers.
  • Subscriber Management: Manage and segment your email lists to target specific audiences more effectively.
  • Landing Pages: Design and publish landing pages to capture leads and drive conversions.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track the performance of your email campaigns with detailed reports on open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and more.
  • A/B Testing: Test different versions of emails or landing pages to determine which performs best.
  • Integrations: Connect with other tools and platforms such as e-commerce systems, CRM software, and social media to streamline your marketing efforts.
  • Templates and Design Tools: Use pre-designed templates and a user-friendly editor to create visually appealing emails and landing pages without needing extensive design skills.
  • Compliance and Deliverability: Features to help ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and improve the chances of your emails landing in the recipient’s inbox.

Considerations

  • Feature Limitations: While MailerLite offers a robust set of features, some advanced capabilities found in other platforms may be missing or limited. For example, users with more complex needs for detailed reporting or advanced automation might find MailerLite's options somewhat basic.
  • Learning Curve: Although MailerLite is known for its user-friendly interface, there may still be a learning curve for those new to email marketing or the platform itself. Investing time in learning how to use its features effectively can pay off in better campaign results.
  • Deliverability Issues: As with any email marketing service, it's important to follow best practices to maintain high deliverability rates. This includes keeping your email list clean, avoiding spammy content, and monitoring your email engagement metrics.
  • Integration Compatibility: While MailerLite offers various integrations, make sure it supports all the tools you use. If you rely on specific CRM systems or e-commerce platforms, verify compatibility and integration options to ensure smooth data flow and automation.
  • Customization Limits: Although MailerLite provides customizable templates and a drag-and-drop editor, there may be limitations in terms of advanced design and customization compared to other platforms with more sophisticated design tools.
  • Support Availability: MailerLite offers support, but response times and the level of assistance may vary. Evaluate their support options and consider whether they meet your needs for customer service and troubleshooting.
  • Data Privacy and Compliance: Ensure that MailerLite meets your requirements for data privacy and compliance, especially if you handle sensitive customer data or operate in regions with strict data protection regulations (like GDPR in Europe).
  • Plan Limitations: Free and lower-tier plans may have limitations on features, the number of subscribers, or email sends. Be aware of these limits and how they might impact your marketing strategy as your business grows.
  • Mobile Optimization: Make sure your emails and landing pages are optimized for mobile devices. While MailerLite templates are generally responsive, always test your campaigns to ensure they look and perform well on all devices.
  • Pricing Changes: Stay informed about any changes in MailerLite’s pricing structure, especially if you plan to scale your email marketing efforts. Understand how upgrades or additional features might affect your budget.

Overall, MailerLite’s combination of ease of use, powerful features, and affordability makes it a popular choice for businesses looking to effectively manage their email marketing campaigns.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the

"When inside of" nested selector

system.
